PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!!! First and foremost I want to share our miracle yet again. Logan was tested last Thursday (Aug. 26th) for my colon cancer genetic disorder and today we got the wonderful news that it was negative which means that he will NOT have to go through all the surgeries and tests that so many in his mommy's family have had to go through. We still remember the day (Dec 15th, 2008) when we got the call that Landon was negative. Mommy cried with excitement. Today was another one of those days. We are so excited and could not be more amazed with God's faithfulness and blessing beyond anything we could ever deserve.
Logan also had his tubes put in today and the doctor said that tons of infected fluid came out. He said that this was definitely a needed surgery and that Logan did really well. Logan slept most of the day but when he was awake he was so happy and content. The doctor said that he can hear a lot better now and won't have any pressure now so we can't imagine how different he must feel now.
Landon has been so helpful with Logan as we have to put ear drops in his ears and keep his head turned for 5 minutes. Landon will talk to and kiss Logan and he will also blow on his tummy to make him laugh and entertain him. Oh we love our boys. We watch in amazement at how much they already show how they love each other. We can't wait to see them as buddies in a couple years.
We got Landon enrolled in Triad for tumble bugs and for Library reading time both starting next Thursday. He is growing so fast and says some hilarious things. Like tonight, he hid and we would say "oh where is Landon?" and he would come out laughing and say "I found him." while giggling and running all over. These are the days that I just am amazed at God's love for us and astounded that He loves us more than we love our boys- I can't imagine a greater love than what we have for them.
Logan is scooting all over the place- sometimes getting stuck under furniture. He will be crawling all over the place so soon. Logan's hair is growing in thicker and more and more blond. Both Landon and Logan have such big, bright, and blue eyes that are beyond beautiful. I don't know how they got their adorable looks but I have never seen such cuter little kids. (gushing mamma isn't biased or anything!!!)
