Logan-9 months old

Wow, time is just flying by. Logan is 9 months old today. He has changed more in this last month than any other month so far. He is crawling everywhere and gets from point A to point B so quickly. He has two teeth on the bottom and two on the top with two more on the top coming through. We are pleased to announce that he is now taking a bottle so much easier. He still wants to watch everything going on but very willing to take the bottle at the same time.
He can go from sitting to laying and laying to sitting without any problem. He is also so adorable when crawling. He uses his elbows and not so much his hands- it is more than an army crawl though because he does use his legs too. He continues to smile most all the time and is so very content in most any situation. He loves to laugh at his older brother too!!!
When I feed my sweet little monkey I am always looking at his eyes and feel he has the most beautiful eyes. His eyelashes are so long and his eyes are such a bright blue. All four of us have blue eyes but our boys have such big and beautiful bright blue eyes.
I do have to wonder if the second child hits there developmental milestones quicker than the first child. Logan is doing things alot faster than what Landon did them. I am sure it is because he wants to keep up with Landon. Logan is making more sounds now too, one of them being Da da. He doesn't know yet what or who da da is but he does say it.
Some of Landon's cute phrases. . . One day I was in the kitchen with Landon and told him I had to wash his hands and he looked at me like a big boy and said "Oh I know that Mom." He calls us mom and dad sometimes instead of mommy and daddy and though it is sweet and grown up, it also breaks my heart a little. I still want to be mommy. Landon's memory is impeccable as well. We drove into a parking lot the other day that we hadn't been in at least four months and he said "hair cut." That was right. Last time we went there was for a hair cut. And we drove down the road Chuckie Cheese's is on and he says "Cottage Cheese's." Oh how sweet. I love it.
It is so funny to watch him with Logan too. My mom always told me stories of how my sister (who is older) acted with me and I see that so much with Landon. He is always waking him up on purpose and very territorial when anyone looks at or holds Logan. I just know that they are going to be such great friends. Logan watches Landon's every move and can now follow Landon too.
My babies are not babies anymore. They are growing so fast . . . toooooooo fast. My dearest friend just had a baby girl, Ava. Seeing her and thinking about her as I do so often, takes me back to when I first held and began the journey with Landon and Logan. It is the most precious gift anyone can be given. Children are so amazing! We are so blessed with our two little boys. They have such sweet spirits and loving hearts. I already see this through their affection, laughter, and smiles. God is so good.
