We had our first Christmas at gappa Ron's and gramma Julie's. Landon and Logan had a great time playing with their cousins Hanna, Jordyn, and Ciera. They got a Home Depot tool set with a big bench area where they can make real projects. Daddy and Landon already made a bird house. We also got a Wii this year. Yes, we have finally joined the 21st century!!! Mommy and daddy are still trying to figure it out- it almost seems that Landon has it figured out better than we do!
Landon is still working on potty training. He will now go into the bathroom and pee in the toilet without any prompting. He knows when he has to go. Pooping on the other hand is not going well at all. Yesterday I had him sitting on the potty two different times because he said his butt hurt. We know that means he has held the poop in long enough and he needs to go. He no sooner got off the toilet, fighting it the whole time, and went up into the tree house at the Indoor Playground and stood and pushed it out. I could tell even from a distance that he was pooping. What a mess. And then of course we had to leave because his pants were all soiled. I have heard from so many people that boys are very different than little girls and have a very hard time pooping in the toilet. This is by far the hardest in parenting to this point.
Logan is such a ham. He is just so adorable and has such a personality. He still isn't talking much but he gets his point across very well and he is understanding pretty much everything. He is doing better with following directions as well though he still pushes the limits. . . just like his older brother.
Landon and Logan both just had ear infections. Landon got it right away but we had Logan to the Dr. 4 times before it finally showed up. We just knew that our little guy was very sick with very high temps and just not himself at all. They are both on antibiotics now and doing much better- thank the Lord!
They are back to their old selves- laughing one moment and then fighting over a toy the next. It is so hard at their ages because they have the same interest in toys. Although 18 months apart. . . they want to play with the same things. And we all know that you want what another has!
We are anxiously awaiting 3 more Christmas' in the next couple weeks. And of course. . . the arrival of our 3rd precious little baby. In less than a month now we will be a family of 5! Hard to believe that Greg and I have only been married 4 and a half years and are about to be the parents of 3 little boys. We are beyond blessed and over joyed!!!
